On 26 June 2024 in connection with the observation of " International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking", a rally was held by Criminal Investigation Department, Kolkata to spread awareness among the general mass to eradicate the menace of drug and illicit trafficking. The Jhumur artiste's from North 24 Parganas partcipated in this rally. In total 6 folk artiste's participated in this programme.
