On 14 April 2024, the first day of the  the Bengali month Baishakh, the Information and Cultural Affairs Department celebrated this day as the 'State Day' in RabindraSadan. Among various culltural programmes performed Folk artiste's of different folk forms from North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas,Howrah, Hooghly and East Bardhaman districts, folk artiste's of  Ranpa Dance from Purba  Bardhaman, Chhou dancer's from Purulia, North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas and Dhak player's from South 24 Parganas participated in this celebration. In total 1000 folk artiste's participated in the celebration.
