The 75th Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January, 2024 at Red Road, Kolkata. Fifty (50) Baul artistes (20 male and 30 female) from the districts of Murshidabad, Purba Bardhaman, Nadia, Birbhum and Hooghly; twenty five (25) Bairati dancers from Cooch Behar; twenty five (25) Adibashi dance artistes from Paschim Medinipur; twenty five (25) Chhau dance artistes from Purulia; twenty five (25) Kukri dance artistes from Darjeeling and twenty five (25) artistes of Kirtan and Shreekhol Badya from different districts participated in the colourful cultural programme of the Republic Day Parade, Kolkata. In total one hundred seventy five (175) folk artistes participated in this programme.
